The “2024 China Library Conference,” jointly hosted by the China Library Society and the Yichang Municipal People’s Government under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held in Yichang, Hubei Province, from September 10 to 13, 2024.
The annual conference was held under the theme “A New Journey, a New Mission: The Library’s Role in Advancing the Modernization of Chinese Civilization.” Librarians from across China joined their counterparts from South Korea, Russia, Singapore, and the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions to pool their wisdom and efforts in further deepening institutional and mechanism reforms in the library sector, optimizing the provision of public cultural services, and harnessing the full potential of technological innovations.
In the same period, the 2024 China Library Exhibition was held at the Yichang Olympic Sports Center, where Fono showcased its offerings at Booth T27.
At this exhibition, we showcased our latest library‑environment management solutions—covering book disinfection, sterilization, pest control, dust removal, temperature and humidity regulation, and air purification—drawing keen interest and prolonged attention from educators.
