The library and archive disinfection chamber, also known as a library‑archive disinfection unit or cabin, provides in‑room disinfection for books and archival materials. This equipment is manufactured from high‑quality cold‑rolled steel, processed using advanced production techniques, and features a double‑walled cabinet design that ensures both airtight sealing and an aesthetically pleasing, tidy, and sophisticated interior. The exterior walls and roof are 1.5–2.0 mm thick, with a phosphating and powder‑coating finish bringing the effective thickness to 1.7–2.2 mm; the interior walls are 1.0 mm thick, with a phosphating and powder‑coating finish yielding 1.2 mm. Its spacious, modular design facilitates easy installation and dismantling. Customizable to suit on‑site conditions, this in‑room system offers excellent sealing performance and a large disinfection capacity.

The library and archive disinfection room and the library/archive disinfection chamber employ a combined ozone–ultraviolet disinfection technology. Under microcomputer‑based intelligent control, six disinfection modes are available, with two operating modes—automatic and manual—providing users flexibility to select the appropriate duration and mode based on the level of contamination of books and archives.
The library and archive disinfection chamber is equipped with a traditional Chinese medicine fumigation tray, which effectively kills insects and imparts a pleasant, fragrant aroma to the disinfected items. The fumigation temperature is below 45°C. It features built-in power-off protection and over-temperature safeguarding.
The top is equipped with three recirculating air‑treatment systems that not only ensure more uniform distribution of ozone throughout the cabinet, achieving all‑round disinfection with no dead zones, but also remove surface dust from disinfected items and filter it out via high‑efficiency filters, keeping the disinfection chamber consistently dust‑free and sterile.
The front door of the library and archive disinfection room and the disinfection chamber is equipped with an electromagnetic lock featuring an automatic locking function: once disinfection is initiated, the lock automatically engages; it releases only after disinfection is complete or when the process is paused, thereby preventing the door from being opened arbitrarily during operation and avoiding ozone leakage that could adversely affect the ambient air quality.

The trolleys used in the library and archive room are equipped with silent casters, and can be configured with varying numbers of stainless steel or galvanized steel trolleys depending on the cabinet capacity, ensuring greater convenience.
The library and archive disinfection room and chamber are equipped with a 7-inch touch-screen LCD control panel that displays the user’s organization name, date and time, current ambient temperature and humidity, and operating status. The unit offers both automatic and manual modes for user selection. It features fault‑alarm functionality, signal‑source control, and an RS‑485 communication interface.
After disinfection is complete, the machine automatically activates the ozone‑decomposition system to prevent residual ozone from harming human health, leaving books and documents fresher and more hygienic. The ozone generator features a ceramic‑plate design with a service life exceeding 8,000 hours, and operates silently during disinfection. Inside, the unit is equipped with four LED lights for illumination and incorporates an automatic door‑control system: the lights turn on when the door opens and off when the door closes.
LED full-color subtitle displays have been installed at the entrance of the library and archive disinfection room and at the door of the disinfection chamber, capable of showing equipment names, time, temperature, humidity, and other information. Users can also download a control app on their smartphones to customize and display subtitles as needed.
