To strengthen team cohesion, foster better communication and mutual understanding among employees across departments, and cultivate a positive, forward‑looking team spirit, on August 5, 2022, the company organized a team‑building rafting excursion to Tuolong Gorge, themed “Braving the Rapids, Moving Forward in Unity.” Participants were able to fully unwind and relieve stress amid the thrilling ride, capturing their beautiful moments and joyful smiles amidst the stunning natural scenery.

The weather was clear and sunny that day, with perfect conditions—truly ideal for rafting. At 8:00 a.m., everyone boarded the company bus and set off, singing at the top of their lungs and enjoying the ride to the fullest.
After a two-hour drive, we arrived at Tuolong Gorge.
First, everyone will enjoy a meal at the restaurant in the Tuolongxia Scenic Area, refueling and savoring delicious dishes while sharing tips, techniques, and important safety reminders for rafting. After lunch, we’ll return to the bus to complete our pre‑rafting gear‑up. With everything in order, we’ll board the coach and head toward the mountaintop.

The rafting adventure begins at the mountaintop. After donning life jackets, helmets, leg guards, and knee pads—essential safety gear—everyone climbs aboard the raft, gripping the handles on either side with both hands. With a vigorous push from the park staff, the raft sets off, and amid the excited screams of fellow adventurers, the thrilling, heart-pounding ride is under way!
Groups of people race down the rushing river one after another, their cheers echoing ahead. The icy water splashes against your face, sending your adrenaline soaring in an instant—and the summer heat is washed away in a flash!
Tuolong Gorge Rafting is China’s highest‑drop, self‑guided two‑person mountain gorge rafting experience, spanning 5 kilometers with a total elevation drop of 299 meters. The ride features a maximum single-drop of 19 meters and the longest slide measuring 120 meters. Along the way, the canyon unfolds in all its grandeur—towering cliffs, jagged rock formations, and lush vegetation—culminating in a breathtaking 100‑meter‑high cliffside waterfall. It feels as though you’re floating through water and drifting within a living painting, offering both exhilarating thrills and an endless appreciation for nature’s pristine beauty.

The rafting experience is thrilling and full of twists and turns. At times, you plunge down steep, raging rapids, and at others, you glide leisurely through calm pools, paddling with gusto. When the current gets fierce, you wrestle with the powerful flow, doing your best not to be capsized. Once you reach the calmer stretches, you hop into a kayak, savoring the serene beauty of emerald-green waters framed by verdant hills, or—no matter who’s who—you join in a lively water battle, pure fun and merriment.
At three o’clock in the afternoon, the call to assemble sounded, and we set off on our journey home. This company-wide rafting team-building activity allowed us to unwind both body and mind after a busy workweek, deepened mutual understanding among colleagues, and fostered an atmosphere of unity, vitality, and determination throughout the entire workforce. It also reminded us that life is like a river rafting—filled with thrilling “rapids” as well as tranquil “lakes.” As long as we dare to take on challenges and face them head-on, we can reach the finish line of success.
